Does ActWidget give my site an accessibility statement?

Yes. The accessibility statement is included in every plan. We send you your statement once ActWidget is installed. A statement is also built into ActWidget: visitors open it from the panel, and it sets out the adjustments ActWidget makes to your site.

Using your own statement

If your organisation already has an accessibility statement, ActWidget can link to yours instead. Contact us with the address of your statement and we will set it.

What the built-in statement covers

It describes what ActWidget does. It does not describe the rest of your site, such as videos, downloadable documents or anything ActWidget does not handle. See What does ActWidget not do?

If you are required to publish a statement in a set format, for example as a public sector body, the built-in statement is unlikely to be enough by itself. Check what your rules require.
